Darin Swift
Coach Swift will begin his 29th year in education, with this being his 1st year at Whitehouse. He graduated from Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska. Coach Swift earned his Bachelors in Physical Education with a minor in Special Education. Past coaching duties include Head girls basketball, Head Softball, Head Cross Country, along with football and baseball. Coach Swift was awarded the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Outstanding Coach Award, along with being selected to coach the Texas 6 Man girls all star team and the Tri State Girls Basketball team. Coach Swift's wife of 38 years, Mitsy, is a 1982 Whitehouse graduate. She is the assistant principal at Cumberland Middle School. Together they have a son CJ (32), and his wife Caitlan, who live in Washington State and a daughter, Mikayla (28) who is a teacher and head girls basketball coach at Big Sandy ISD.
