Michael Ostlund
Coach O has been a basketball coach since 1990,
including 25 years at the collegiate level
with stops in NCAA Division I, Division II, and
junior college. He came to Whitehouse in
2021, from Oakwood HS where he led the Panthers
to the 2019 1A State Semifinals.
He is originally from Tacoma, Washington and
played collegiate basketball at Weber State
University in Ogden, Utah. He received his
bachelor’s degree from Weber State and was a
First Team All-Big Sky Conference selection in
1990. He also earned a Master’s of Business
Administration (MBA) in 2000.Coach O and his
wife Jennifer have been married 31 years and
have three daughters: Nettie (30), Jadie (26),
and Mattie (22).
