Sam Shields
Coach Shields is beginning his 40th year of coaching and his Eighteenth year at Whitehouse. He graduated from Nacogdoches High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas at Austin, his Masters of Education (Secondary) from Stephen F. Austin State University and his Administrator’s Certificate from Texas A&M-Commerce. He began coaching at Plano Senior High School. He also coached at Klein High School and Henderson High School. Coach Shields is married to LeAnn and they have two children: Jake, 27, and Michelle, 23.
