Shelby May
Coach
May grew up in Callisburg, Texas and went on to play collegiate tennis at North
Central Texas College and LeTourneau University. May graduated with honors with
her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations
in Kinesiology, Business and Communications in 2014 from LeTourneau. Coach May
earned her Master of Education degree in Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation from
Hardin-Simmons University in 2017, where she also spent three years as a
graduate assistant for the Cowboy and Cowgirl Tennis team. This will be May’s 5th year of teaching and
coaching and will be her 4th year at Whitehouse. In addition to coaching the
middle school and high school tennis programs, Coach May will teach PE
